Susienka elected president of NASL board of directors for 2008-09
Cindy Susienka, President and CEO of Golden Innovations, has been elected to serve as President of the Board of Directors of the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care (NASL) for 2008-2009.
NASL is a trade association of ancillary providers of products and services to the post-acute care industry. The association represents its members on Capitol Hill in legislative and regulatory issues that impact the quality of care to patients in the long-term care setting.
This is a great honor for Susienka and recognizes the very active role she has played in supporting this industry. As a longtime member of NASL, Susienka's expertise and knowledge have proven invaluable in addressing legislative issues that affect our aging society, assisting with education about limited financial resources, and tackling challenges of public and private pressures in healthcare reform.
Before being named President of the Board of Directors, Susienka served as Vice President of the Medical Services Committee of NASL, a group that concentrates on issues related to therapy providers. In her new role as Board President, Susienka will continue to do an outstanding job of representing healthcare providers and suppliers to advocate for high-quality, cost-effective care.
