- Golden LivingCenter Celebrates Grand Opening In Greenville, North Carolina

Golden LivingCenters recently celebrated the grand opening of
its new location in Greenville, North Carolina that houses over
150 residents with 72,000 square feet. Aegis Therapies,
a Golden Living company, will provide therapy services at the new
building. The new facility replaced the old Golden
LivingCenter which housed 152 residents in 45,000 square feet.

- Seniors, Staff and Family Members Walked More than 23,816 miles During Aegis Therapies’ First Nationwide Walk Your Age Events

Delafield, Wisconsin, October 5, 2009 — To celebrate Active
Aging Week© September 21-27, Aegis Therapies hosted their first
ever Walk Your Age event on Monday, September 21. With over 550
participating facilities, the event was a huge success. Close to
twenty thousand participants walked an astounding 50 million steps
or 23,816 miles. The nationwide series of events were held in
conjunction with Golden LivingCenters and other nursing homes and
assisted living facilities serviced by Aegis Therapies.

WHO: On Monday Sept 21st, Aegis Therapies, along with
Chris Freytag, National fitness expert, will lead several
of our Minnesota locations in a live WALK YOUR AGE event. The
walkers will include residents, ages 50 to 90 years old, who
believe in staying active and healthy. ALL of our locations
nationwide will be participating in this same program. IT'S A
NATIONAL EFFORT TO GET MOVING DURING ACTIVE AGING WEEK!

Golden Living Center of Hagerstown recently donated $500 to
Friends of Safe Place, Washington County Child Advocacy Center,
during a check presentation at 24 N. Walnut St. in Hagerstown.Safe
Place will use the donation to purchase supplies.
The donation was made in collaboration with Aegis Therapies and
AseraCare Hospice and Home Health.
