celebrate National Occupational Therapy Month in April. This
month-long celebration honors occupational therapists and
occupational therapy assistants. These health care workers treat
people of all ages who, because of illness or injury, have lost
some of the their ability to perform important, everyday life
functions and activities.

interventions and home modifications, and supervising the assistant
occupational therapists.

- Golden LivingCenter Celebrates Grand Opening In Greenville, North Carolina
Nov. 01, 2009
Golden LivingCenters recently celebrated the grand opening of
its new location in Greenville, North Carolina that houses over
150 residents with 72,000 square feet. Aegis Therapies,
a Golden Living company, will provide therapy services at the new
building. The new facility replaced the old Golden
LivingCenter which housed 152 residents in 45,000 square feet.

- Seniors, Staff and Family Members Walked More than 23,816 miles During Aegis Therapies’ First Nationwide Walk Your Age Events

Delafield, Wisconsin, October 5, 2009 — To celebrate Active
Aging Week© September 21-27, Aegis Therapies hosted their first
ever Walk Your Age event on Monday, September 21. With over 550
participating facilities, the event was a huge success. Close to
twenty thousand participants walked an astounding 50 million steps
or 23,816 miles. The nationwide series of events were held in
conjunction with Golden LivingCenters and other nursing homes and
assisted living facilities serviced by Aegis Therapies.

- Aegis Therapies to lead WALK FIT FOR SENIORS walk during Active Aging Week

WHO: On Monday Sept 21st, Aegis Therapies, along with
Chris Freytag, National fitness expert, will lead several
of our Minnesota locations in a live WALK YOUR AGE event. The
walkers will include residents, ages 50 to 90 years old, who
believe in staying active and healthy. ALL of our locations
nationwide will be participating in this same program. IT'S A
NATIONAL EFFORT TO GET MOVING DURING ACTIVE AGING WEEK!
