Randy S.

Physical Therapist Assistant
 

Randy S. is a physical therapist assistant with Aegis Therapies and is responsible for administering therapeutic exercise, modalities and stretching to patients. Additionally, he evaluates and documents patient progress as well as performing balance and gait training.
 

Randy finds value in the relationships he builds in his position. “I enjoy the friendships that I’ve developed with patients and coworkers throughout the facility,” he explains. “It’s nice being able to see the residents’ progress and knowing that I was part of it.”
 

One patient in particular brought a smile to Randy’s face. “I had a patient who was unable to walk and relied on an electric wheelchair. Through my guidance and his hard work, he is now able to walk with a cane over 300 feet.”
 

What does Randy view as the key driver to providing excellent service? Attitude. “Keep a positive attitude,” he explains, “and never forget that our patients are someone’s relative or friend. Treat them as though they are yours.”
