Lynda has been with Aegis Therapies since 2008. Although she is a rehab program manager (RPM), Lynda has also served in the capacities of rehab program coordinator (RPC) and interim district manager. Lynda appreciates the opportunity to explore various roles with Aegis Therapies. “They allow me to assist in a number of areas by wearing different hats that have enhanced my professional experience.”

Lynda became interested in speech therapy at a young age. As an aspiring opera singer in high school, she developed chronic vocal issues related to years of untrained abuse of her voice. After researching speech-language pathology, Lynda decided to switch her career path.

These days, Lynda’s duties include mentoring other RPCs and RPMs and traveling throughout her district to work with large groups of therapists. “My primary responsibilities are to ensure service excellence, employee engagement, clinical services and operational metrics that are at or above the high level of expectation associated with an Aegis Therapies team,” she says.

Lynda finds it especially rewarding when patients express how much they look forward to their therapy sessions. “This tells me we are providing service excellence to our patients, which in turn motivates them towards better outcomes.”

Along with patient satisfaction, Lynda enjoys being a part of a great team. “I would not be nearly as effective without the assistance and guidance from all of these individuals,” she says. “I have always referred to Aegis Therapies as being ‘resource rich.’”
