Anne C., a rehab program manager with Aegis Therapies, recently celebrated her 16-year anniversary with the company. Anne is responsible for the development and implementation of Aegis clinical programs in three different buildings, where she supervises therapy staff, serves as the coordinator for student affiliations in her district, and assists with marketing activities.
 

Although Anne has been a rehab program manager for the past 11 years, she began her career as a staff occupational therapist and moved up through the ranks. As an occupational therapist, Anne finds it rewarding to develop patient goals related to activities of daily living.
 

Even though Anne’s main role is not to directly provide therapy to patients, she still enjoys being able to have contact with them. “I am at a facility daily, and I continue to have interaction with patients and residents. I never stop growing and learning,” she explains. Additionally, she believes that in order to provide excellent service, the golden rule applies. “Always treat someone the way you would want your loved one to be treated, and you will always have excellent customer service,” she explains. “It doesn’t matter what kind of a day you may be having. When someone approaches you with a question or concern, your undivided attention and caring heart will make all the difference to them.”
