Barb Christensen

Regional Director of Clinical Services

Barb has been with Aegis therapies for over 9 years. Prior to her current position as Regional Director of Clinical Services, she was a District Manager for almost 5 years in our eastern Wisconsin district. Barb is now responsible for the development, training and implementation of our clinical programs in her region. She oversees the growth of the clinical trainers and leaders in her areas.

Barb believes the keys to providing excellent health care service are to never stop learning, be a good listener, and always look for opportunities to keep growing as a professional. She feels very lucky to work with such a superb group of managers. “Seeing them embrace our programs has been a real joy for me, and their commitment to developing the clinical strength of their own employees is outstanding as well.” The clinical aspect of her work, which includes helping with the growth of our new Aegis at Home program, is a great source of pride for Barb. “One of the best aspects of my job is the balance between providing support for the regions, and developing programs for the company as a whole. The opportunities I’ve had for professional growth at Aegis Therapies are enormous.”

Lately, Barb has been hearing many amazing success stories from her clinicians regarding pain relief through the use of modalities. “It’s not only the patient outcome that is rewarding; it’s the excitement I hear in the voices of the therapists as well.”

Barb believes Aegis Therapies’ latest investment in wellness programs for its employees has empowered her to be more creative in her approach when developing wellness programs for her customers.
