Aegis supports and encourages its employees to attend education workshops and courses to promote advanced and aggressive rehabilitation programs. Full- and part-time employees are offered continuing education assistance to fully support their growth.
Continuing education courses offered internally are taught by employees in our corporate Clinical Department or by our district managers, clinical specialists and/or Master Clinicians. Many of these courses and seminars are approved for CEU credit by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and some are approved for state CEU credit. We are currently in the application process for approval as a provider of continuing education by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Our therapists are also encouraged to seek learning opportunities outside of Aegis, as long as the subject matter relates to the therapist’s practice setting and the strategic goals for the district.
